Your period just got an upgrade: Meet THE DISC – a product born from our own search for the perfect period solution during active days. While our nookees PADS are perfect for everyday comfort, we knew we needed something different for activities like surfing, swimming etc. After trying everything available on the market, from cups that created uncomfortable suction to various alternatives, we finally found what we were looking for.
Unlike menstrual cups that sit vertically and can create suction pressure, THE DISC flows with your body's natural shape, sitting horizontally for a truly comfortable fit. It is inserted like a tampon, but collects rather than absorbs your flow.
No more dealing with complex folding techniques or suction effects – THE DISC slides in smoothly and catches your flow without complications. Whether you're already using our PADS for everyday period care or just starting your sustainable period journey – THE DISC is here to complement your flow during those active moments when you need something different.
How to click with THE DISC:
1. Fold: With clean hands, create a figure 8 shape by gently pinching THE DISC.
2. Insert: Guide THE DISC in horizontally and position it behind your pubic bone. You'll know it's right when you can't feel it anymore.
3. Remove & repeat: THE DISC can stay in for up to 8-12 hours. When it's time for a change, hook your finger and gently guide it out. Give it a proper wash, then reinsert. Simple as that.
Before your first click: Clean hands, clean disc - that's the way to start. At the beginning and end of your period, sanitise THE DISC by giving it a 4-5 minute treatment in boiling water (but no longer than 7 minutes). After each use during your bleeding, start with a cold water rinse to keep it looking fresh, then wash with warm water and a mild cleanser. Rinse thoroughly and you're set to use it straight again.

Your shipping costs will automatically be calculated during checkout, as they vary on your location and size of the parcel (in between 3,90 € and 12,90 €).
We ship to many countries and also overseas. You can see if we ship to your country at checkout, as well as the shipping costs.
Free shipping starts at 150€ national/ 200€ international.
US customers:
If your order total (product + shipping) is under 800 USD, it usually qualifies for duty-free import under the current de minimis rule (valid until July 2027). In most cases, you will not pay additional customs duties for nookees PADS/ PANTIES shipped directly from Europe.
Still, we ask our customers to inform themselves about import taxes and duties in their home country, as these must be borne by the customer.

You have the right to return the unused goods within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the goods were delivered to you.
In the case of a defective product we will refund the purchase price and take over the return costs, in all other cases the customer has to pay the return costs. If you have received a defective product, please contact us.
Returns from Switzerland and other non EU countries:
Any additional costs such as customs clearance fees or cash on delivery costs and the collection of packages from the customs office will not be paid, we do not accept such packages. Please make sure that you register your return with customs for free circulation under customs and tax law or pay customs beforehand when returning something to us.

nookees THE PANTY comes with a comfortably sizing of underwear, which means if you're in between two sizes, go for one size smaller then your regular underwear.
Other option: measure your hips and follow our measurements: XS (hip: 89-94cm), S (hip: 95-97 cm), M (hip: 98-104 cm), L (hip: 105-108 cm), XL (hip: 109-118 cm), XXL (hip: 119-124 cm).

nookees are handmade with a lot of love. To take good care of them, we recommend the following treatment:

As our fabrics are just rad, you could wash THE PADS even with 95*C. But a.) you don't need to wash them that hot and b.) it's not good for the environment. So we personally prefer to rinse THE PADS in cold water after use. On laundry day nookees wander into the machine and get tumbled with the rest of any clothes. Hang them dry (with the hanger of THE POUCH) and use them again. And again. And again. For years.

Are nookees organic?
Click here to learn more...nookees THE PADS are made out of 100% organic cotton. The lyocel fibre we use for THE PANTIES is made out of cellulose, a natural component of wood. It’s biodegradable and at the end of its life cycle, the fibers can re-enter the eco-system.

Does the disc work with suction?
... and moreOther than menstrual cups, THE DISC doesn't use suction, instead it works with gravity to sit at the base of the cervix. This allows it to be way easier for insertion and removal by gliding the disc in/out, without any discomfort for you or your cervix.

How do nookees work?
nookees are made out of two clicking awesome components: THE PAD and THE PANTY.
You click the reusable PADS with the button system into the PANTY and use them. When it’s time for a change, just remove the PADS with the (un)click of a button, put everything into the laundry (up to 60°C) and use it again. No moving, no leaking, just comfortable safety during your period.
How many pairs do I need?
The KIT comes with one pair of nookees PANTIES and three PADS in different absorbency levels. Refill packages contain either one PANTY or three PADS of your choice. Usually you should be fine with one KIT and one PANTY/ PADS refill.
how can i wash nookees?
As we are only using amazing robust and of course sustainable materials (most of them are even organic, IVN Best), there is no special (laundry) treatment needed. Wash THE PADS hot (60°C), THE PANTY 40°C, short, or long, by hand or machine. You can even put THE PADS into the dryer or under the iron. But if you ask us: better skip that last part to avoid inefficient use of electricity and the fabrics to be overused…

what size do I need?
Just choose the regular size of underwear you normally use. If you’re in doubt you can measure your hips and follow our measurements: XS (hip: 89-94cm), S (hip: 95-97 cm), M (hip: 98-104 cm), L (hip: 105-108 cm), XL (hip: 109-118 cm), XXL (hip: 119-124 cm).
Our nookees PANTY is very comfortably designed, so if you're in between two sizes, just go for the smaller one.
