Why biocides mess up with you, even if they're not there anymore

Why biocides mess up with you, even if they're not there anymore

As you might know by now I am not a friend of biocides in period panties at all. As I would say I am not a friend of chemicals in general, so the last place I want them to sit is in my underwear.

No secret at all, that if you wear a period pantie full of chemicals, very close to a very sensitive area of your wonderful body, they will get absorbed by it at some point.

And without going into details, this is harmful. Period.

Now I figured something out that even goes one step further: Most of the biocides get washed out after a couple of times in the laundry. Well, you might think. Good for my body, as it looks like if they are gone, they are gone.

Not really, because: Where do they go if they get washed out in the laundry? They get released into the water and pollute it. Vice versa, they are obviously not in the underwear anymore. And then?

After they leave the battlefield, you are left with a "regular" piece of underwear, still full of plastic, which makes it semi-breathable, that can only be washed cold or in low temperatures but gets promoted to be worn the whole day. And now just imagine the picture: A warm, wet biotope, full of blood, close to one of the most delicate regions of your body. Did anybody say infections or fungal take over?
